New VW Polo BlueGT

Hi Guys!
Since i'm new here, let me introduce myself
! Basically i'm from Portugal (boo me! I DARE YOU!) and i like to drive (and eat these crab appetizers!) DONE!
Unfortunatelly, i'm still new with my driving skills (1y and something) with my 99 Polo. Since i was getting bored with it (my first car... i will never forget him), i decided to do an upgrade: VW Polo Bluegt 1.4 150hp. I've been test driving some cars, and to be honest, the only one that caught my attention was the Polo 1.2 (there wasn't any BlueGT to test
... ) -> love the interior, nice driving, the exterior is fine too and it's comfortable. It was like i had this unique moment with this car, nothing was annoying me and i left the stand really happy and the eager to have one!
Since i'm looking for a "fast" car, i've checked this BlueGT, which just bought me because of the interior: It's blue and i love blue :3! But will it keep me entertained for a long time? (5 years max) I know it's a mature car (that's what i'm looking for), but i don't want to get bored after some time, like i am with my 99 Polo. And let's be honest, speed isn't everything!
I've read some reviews that the Polo is not that fun to drive (at least when compared with a Fiesta, Mini Cooper, Clio RS) because VW always decides for a safer car, so is it still enjoyable? I know i will like it since i'm used to drive an older gen car, but i'm thinking about the future. Any comments from a BlueGT drivers? How are you liking it so far? Any other comments and experiences are always welcome from non-BlueGT drivers as well
P.S.: I've already bought the car since i think in my scenario is the best option and i can't think of another car rather this one :3. Though, still need to wait one month and half
