Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
SVM , as it is suggested here ---> http://forums.ross-tech.com/showthread. ... #post11678
It's what I would do without question, in fact I done it in many occasions. (to try to operate other added systems )
Money should not be your real concern.

Re: R: Polo 6R ABS CODING
That thread is about my case.
When I installed the MFA+ Instrument Cluster, Danilo78 forgot to backup my ABS long-coding. At that time I never saved an Autoscan.
Thanks to the help received on that forum, I was able to find a long-coding which was accepted by my ABS unit. Then I performed all the necessary sensors's calibrations and everything started working correctly again.
Since that time I've driven almost 25.000km and everything works perfectly!
I also made a guide in italian and english on how to perform the necessary procedures for calibrating the steering sensor and the ESP.
If it's ok, I can post them on here.

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
I guess that before calibrating the sensors it is necessary the correct coding of that ABS unit. (RHD)Jay-Jay wrote:That thread is about my case.

What is the correct coding for that ABS unit? (Info)

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
Thanks for that video Ciclo,
Its very true. Safety should come first before anything. If I can't work out the coding I'll have to go to the dealers.
Also Jay-Jay a guide would be very much appreciated. Also could you post your VIN and coding as it would be appreciated!

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
The LHD codings are not suitable for your 6R.
Try with codings I posted above, one of the four should be accepted (at least), and then try to make the basic settings of sensors with codings that are accepted.

Thanks Ciclo,
Its 7:25am. I have about an hour before I go to work so I'll try it. let's see what happens.

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
So the only accepted coding was
230224E3416E00B7C42624E782D400921300 viewtopic.php?f=56&t=68290&start=15#p510129
Try again.
Remember that every time you do a basic setting have to close the controller and start again with another basic setting.
Press the button (SET) to monitoring tire pressure when you have entered this last coding and tell us what happens in MFD. Please.
If you go to the dealer for SVM, do not forget to publish coding, it may be useful to other users.

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
Yep. But when i do the G419 calibration it does not let me. Which means the coding is most likely wrong (a few wrong digits)

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
Something new:
after this (it has been a miracle to find ), and doing the calculations for your 6R, try it with this coding:
230224E3416E00B7C42624E782D400821300
The only change from the last coding which was accepted is in Byte15.

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
Hi Ciclo,
Thanks for finding the link. I have given my car to the mechanic to change the clutch. I will get it back tomorrow around 4pm and I will do it then.
Thank you for all the coding. I will update everyone tomorrow. Hope it goes well and works!!!

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
Apologize for my late reply: I've been very busy!
So, here are the guides I made which has to be followed after the right long-coding is accepted by the ABS Unit:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/7zfqwy6dk1jhs ... s.pdf?dl=0
This is my VIN:
WVWZZZ6RZAY258477
These are my ABS Unit's informations:
Part No SW: 6R0 907 379 AF HW: 6R0 907 379 AF
Component: ESP8.2i front H05 0005
Revision: --------
Coding: 210228E3217200BA842914E984D800401700
Shop #: WSC 12345 123 12345
VCID: 82017BAC19148EE
My Polo has 288mm Lucas brake calipers on the front (installed by me) and 232mm Lucas brake calipers on the rear.
I've never had any problem since I used that long-coding.
But who knows... maybe everything it's working, but not exactly as it should... ciclo made me have the doubt now, ahahah.
How can I understand if ABS or ESP it's not working as it should?
