I need to turn on the Air Recirculation button everytime I turn on the car. Is there anyway to make the button automaticaly turn on?

Why do you want to do that ? If you drive with the Air Recirculation button switched on there is no fresh air coming in the car. It only recirculates the air in the passengercabine. It's even unhealthy to drive for a longer period of time (10 minuts is the max) without fresh air coming into the car.

Maybe the AR is turnned off automatically because you have the switch of the Ar Circulation in the position of the windshield. But it's not advisable to drive to long with the AR turned on.

if u want AR, then the fresh air must stink of cow dung!

Joy is right on this one. Its not good to be driving with stale air in the car for a long period of time. Hence the reason why it switches itself off after a while.
Stale air will cause drowsiness and I also presume will make your car smell quite bad as I think it recirculates the air from around the footwell area (sweaty feet

)

I only turn on the AR when I want the car to cool off quickly (summer) or heat on quickly (winter). Otherwise it's always turn off.

My AR stops on if you start the car after having it on previously (ie switching engine off with it on and then restarting it it is still on)??

I *think* it depends on how long you leave the car. If I leave the car for 10 minutes, the AR is still on. But when I leave it for a day after i've left the AR on previously, its not on

Do you reverse out of your parking space in the morning as I think the auto recirculation when in reverse may be the cause of the problem? I'm sure I left it on the other day, switched the engine on and I'm positive that AR was on, reversed out then into first and the AR switched off. Will have to give it a try after work today to see if that's what it is.
