Just picked up a new MY17 Polo GTI

Connected up VCDS to have a look and it says vehicle not supported

Using a genuine RossTech HEX-USB+CAN Interface running version 15.7.4

Did it work on the MY16 cars ?

I would have hoped so, there is a newer version of VCDS out now, try that.

Yes, just noticed 16.8 released today, seems to be OK now.

I just got offered it this morning, so grabbed it while I remembered, but I did not read up on what prompted that update. Other than the interface update warning, which should not bother us I'd expect.
