Debadge or not?

Is there a common consensus? I've been mulling it over for a while and just can't make my mind up. The GTi badge is one of the few that I think still stands for something but I love the clean lines that having no badges gives. Any opinions?

I always think a fully debadged boot looks as though it's just come out of a bodyshop and they didn't fit the badges back on

I've never debadged a car, but my wife wanted the polo gti as long as the rear badge was removed. This was due to the fact that when I've driven a GTI for a week previously and she was on the test drive, plenty of people were suddenly next to us revving their engine and she just wanted to be able to drive normally. Have to say, I quite like the look and plenty of people assume it's just a normal polo because of it. Great for just pootling along but also fun when that A3 diesel driver pulls up next to you

I used to debadge all of my cars, but I've left them on this one, my Anni and my old 6N2 when I had it. I actually replaced the 6N2's because the red had faded on them.

Pain in the **** when polishing and waxing though
