Drivers side window switch removal

Hi new to this forum, need some help - left the drivers side window slightly open on my 3 door 2011 Polo over the weekend and the heavens open !!!. Now the electric window switch won't operate - do I need to remove the door card to access the switch, or can I prise it out?

You might damage the surround by prising it out so better to remove the door card and access it from behind.
Have you checked the fuse to see it that's blown?

Can anyone tell me which is the fuse for the electric window switches on a rhd 3 door 2011 polo match. Also a part number for a replacement switch as system. Thanks
