Enabling digital speedo / disabling DRLs via VCDS - MOT issues?

Hello all, first post here - and it's a question. I'm looking into having a few tweaks done to my 2014 Polo Match with VCDS, one of them being the digital speedo. If this is enabled, does the digital KM/h readout on the MFD main screen disappear? If it does vanish, would this be something that would cause an MOT failure? Likewise with disabling the DRLs, I know EU legislation states that cars built after 2011 must be built with them enabled, but it's perfectly legal to have them disabled, right?
Many thanks for your help!

I presume it's a UK car.
The lack of an auxiliary speedo be it in kph, mph or even light years is not an MoT failure providing the main instrument functions correctly.
Working DRLs are a legal requirement for a 2014 car, the transition period when they had to be fitted but didn't have to be used has long expired. Turn them off and you are committing an offence if you take the car on the road.

Thanks for the info, Ricmondo. I may have to look into getting the LED DRLs installed!
