Was driving along as normal and all of a sudden my car started coughing and farting, went into limp mode and now sounds like a really bad misfire, changed the plugs and coils but the problem is still there, any help is appreciated

To start with, you need to check static timing in case the chain has jumped some teeth, other than that maybe a quick compression check?
