Finally saw another GTi

I bought my car mid December and was surprised that I hadn't seen another. On Wednesday I saw a white two door driving through Thundersley village in Benfleet, Essex. No chance to flash, wave or even grin.

Yes, they do seem to be quite a rare sight on the roads.
Since I got mine in March, I've seen a black GTI on the Norfolk / Suffolk border a few times, a red one once in the local hospital car park and a fleeting glimpse of a white one, but apart from that, no others. Plenty of Fiesta ST's though.

Gassed Up. he does quite a lot of his filming around the bury/thetford area and purchaced his car from VW in Bury St Edmunds.

The reg no. of the black one I've seen a few times was AU16 ###, so different to the guy on YouTube who I think is also a member on this forum? (forum name JoeMarano).

Yeah mine is AV16
I have only seen one the same as mine a black 5 door in my local area...they are a very rare sight indeed!
I think VW should give me more cars to put on film considering the amount of people that have bought Polo's due to me lol

You may see me about from end of October/beginning of November it will be a red 5 door on a private plate

I do a lot of driving round east anglia for work so will keep an eye out for you all, currently got 3 door Citigo so bit of an upgrade

I have only seen 1 maybe 2 in and around Ipswich
white 5 door 2015/2016
Red 5 door 2013/2014

Hi,
The au16 black 3 door between Norfolk and Suffolk will be me. I drive from Norwich to halesworth daily for work.
I have only ever seen 3 other polos since March. black 5 door and a blue silk to and from work and a red one in Essex.

I've seen you a few times on the B1332 between 5.00 and 5.30 in the afternoon. I'll flash my lights when I see you next time; I'll be in my blue silk 5 door GTI; also AU16.

A blue silk gti came pass me Norwich bound on the a11 earlier this week...hope I wasn't going to slow!
