Hey guys,

I'm just interested to know if anyone has installed an oil catch can in the Polo GTI.

I would like to install one into my 6C as I'm looking to do a few track days, but I'm not sure what good options are out there.

Any help or info is much appreciated. :D

I'm not sure you NEED it as such there are other areas a Polo needs looking at before a catch can for track use imo but they are a pretty generic product so demon tweeks or similar should do them.

Could you shread some light on these areas?
It will be nice to give some advice on reliability mods on the EA888...

I'm my experience it's the standard tyres and brakes that need looking at before anything else for serious track work. I make do to be honest as I don't want to go modifying my car and ruining the warranty I guess the tyres for road tyres are very good indeed but they are just that....a road tyre and will always overheat on track. Brakes get quite a bit of fade if you aren't careful too. I counter act both of these by letting the pressures down a bit and only going out for 4-5 laps max and having a good half hour cool down. The standard seats could be more supportive too if I'm honest

Only other area is that I have already had a replacement turbo from a 701T to a 713J a problem I have noticed a few people with over the last few months.
