Hi All, I seem to be having abit of the problem with the side light on the drivers side. Basically to make the light come on the light needs to have a jolt or bang. Once its happened the light stays on and does work. The headlight works normally am i right in thinking its a loose wire?

I'd think that until you have bought a new bulb and tried fitting it you will never know, guessing is for mugs!

Remember, if that bulb is the same type as used in the earlier 9N version, it will be a flangeless bulb with stupid small wire contacts that might just need re shaping/bending out a bit - or the filament is broken and taping it makes it weld back together - but remember that guessing is for mugs!
