Hello everyone can anyone help I want to code the Reverse Mirror Tilt on my 2015 Polo GTI 2015 model. Is there some one that can give me the process on how to do this thanks to who ever can help. My car has Mirror Fold fitted as this seems to be a question that I have been asked so that this can be done.

What is it preventing this? I know the door mirror will need a different type of motor with extra wires, but is it the door module that doesn't support it?

it simply doesn't have the software to do this

Maybe the mirrors are controlled by the convenience module? I wonder if it can be fitted but only used for certain functions? I.e. Convenience menu, mirror dip

I think they are not the same units for convenience menu and lowering mirror. The lowering mirror unit is from a 2013 model.
Both units would have to cross the Atlantic to do the tests and check if they fit ... via coding of the required functions/features.

I do not have the diagrams from 2017 model (despite I visited Erwin recently due to other matters)

I checked and it seems there is a dedicated control module for the lowering (J1110) all mirror switch wiring goes through it, pq35 platform cars have it working via the door module, what can't it be that easy [emoji85][emoji23]

Do what I do, save loads of hassle and just manually lower the mirror every time it comes to parallel parking, takes an extra 10 seconds to tilt it but that s better than £80 for a wheel refurb.

Additionally if the BCM could control it, you need passenger mirror with additional potentiometers in to carry out the mirror dip
