Hello all,

I have 195-50-15 on my 6n2 gti and it's touching my front fender (the rear side of the front fenders).

I have attached some photos.

Is there anything I can do? I really want to keep this tires so I'm looking for a body work solution.

Not really. Those tyres are too big. Needs to be a 45 profile to not rub

adding 10mm spacer - will it help?

I take it that your car is standard height? Do you mean that the tyre rubs the plastic arch liner on the inside of the wing/fender? Does the tyre rub the actual metalwork of the wing/fender ? If not, then spacers should work, but I don't know what size you would need, but I would think at least 15mm?

I'm not at standard height - I'm lowered 30mm

Tyre rubs the plastic the plastic arch liner on the inside of the wing (the side of the chassis). if I will take off the plastic arch liner - I guess that it will rub the chassis.

I already have 20mm spacer.

If you are already low and spaced the only option is to change to the correct tyre. You'll end up catching the outer wheel arch if you go any further

I wouldn't consider removing the arch liner. You'll end up with mud and muck in places it shouldn't go

I think then the problem is the size of tired and being lowered together. You would be ok with a smaller profile tyre and lowered or that tyres and standard height, but being lowered and that size tyre is causing the problems
