Boost Gauge install

Hi all,
I know this has been covered in a very good guide on these forums, However is there another entry point from the engine bay into the cabin of the car? Instead of grommet by the ECU.
The reason i ask this is that the length of vacuum hose i have isn't long enough for this route. So wondering if there is a path that goes straight into the drivers side of the car? Such as routing the line with the bonnet release cable
This would save me ordering for vacuum line.
