Hi,

I have probably malfunction OBD2 port. I recently bought a Mojio device for tracking my car, I plugged it in OBD connector and it succesfully synchronized with web service (Mojio device has its own SIM card). After 2 minutes of driving I got notification on my phone that the device was switched off-line and unplugged from my car - but it was all the time plugged in. Since that the device is not working at all. I tought it's the fuse but I dont know which one it is. I tried fuses 9, 22, 23 and 25 and they all look OK. I have VAGCOM cable and it works, I can push new codings, but I cant read data through OBD2 with it, it just throws an comunication error (0).

Can someone please help me with that? Is there any other fuses I should look at? I dont want try the device in other car - don't want to destroy another OBD connector.

If your car owner's handbook does not tell you which fuse it is, then ask at your local VW dealer, or buy some time on Erwin to see a complete listing of the fuses and their functions.

I've never looked to see which fuse it is that provides a 12Volts output from that socket, but, one thing you could do is, Google OBD2 connector pin out and that should tell you which pin should have 12Volts on it, then check it with a voltmeter to make sure that it is still powered up.

Fuse 9, fuse 22, fuse 23 and fuse 25 are used for the ODB port

That's the fuses I checked and they are all OK.

Pins 4 and 16 should be power pins, I will check them for 12V.
