HI all. I've noticed the compressor not engaging on my air conditioning when on I press the button on.

Is it because the aircon won't engage below a certain temperature? I believe this is common with Mercedes etc but I don't know about VW's.

Its around 0-1 degrees outside.

It doesn't operate if the ambient temperature is below approx +3 degrees; page 202 of the manual.
