Why not wait until you've got it first.
I think you'll notice quite a difference between a 6c GTI producing 189bhp and your current 84 (?) bhp 1.4 and you may find you'd be happy with the GTI without tuning it. Also, bear in mind the warranty implications of modifying / tuning it too.
I don't know what the situation is in Iceland, but in the U.K. there would also be insurance implications of tuning/modifying; insurance companies view young drivers in tuned/modified hot hatches as a high risk (some insurers won't quote for these risks), and this would be reflected in the insurance premiums they'd quote to provide cover.

Ive test driven the 6R GTI 2013 model. It was crazy fast. There is nothing like that here in Iceland , insurance companies dont care if you modify your car, and you dont have to report that sort of thing.
You are right i have a 1.4 86bhp its a good car i just wanted the GTI as soon as i tried it.

Glad to have been part of making you change your mind there! As said, why not wait for a while until you have driven the 1.8T GTI, before working out if you need higher performance.

the start would be make sure you get the manual over the DSG

Yeah i just felt the price he put on it was way too expensive.
His car : 2013 polo gti driven 42k km , Asking price was £23.000
A brand new 2017 would cost me £28.000 . So i though it was kind of a no brainer to just buy a new one with 5 years of warranty.
Also i just wanted to ask for maps so that in the future i would know what map to go for if you know of any.
Although i am still debating if i should go for a DSG or a manual. Mine is manual right now and i feel often times that a dsg would have been superb to have. But then again if i go for a dsg the torque is limited to 250 rather then 320 on the manual.
