H8 white bulbs for Blue GT front foglamps

HI all, noticed the other day when the wife pulled up on the drive and the coming home lights activated (dipped beam and front fog lamps), that the stock VW bulbs in the fog lights are horrendously yellow.
I'm after a whiter set but know that some of the 5000k units aren't UK road legal so just wondering what make other people have used for replacements that nearer match her factory Xenon headlights please ?
