Had a 2015 polo gti for almost two years. When braking from low speed whether brakes are hot of cold, you hear the rear brakes making a scoring noise as if they are worn out! It's not a skreching noise (metal to metal) it's a coarse scoring noise. Local VW garage has had it twice and say there is nothing wrong - it will bed in! Car is nearly two years old with 17,000 miles! They have also said it is characteristic of the car! Any advice? Thanks

And mine. Sounds like it does just after I've cleaned the car when there's a light layer of surface rust on the face of the discs, but even when the discs are clean you can hear it at low speed. I've put it down to the brake pad material used by VW.
