Asymmetric headlights - modification for right side driving

Hi,

I own a Polo 6r with regular halogen headlights and I am planning to drive for a longer period of time in Germany.

Is there an inbuilt option to switch the asymmetric headlights from being suitable for driving on the left side to the right side? I was only able to find stickers that need to be placed on the lights but I was wondering if there is a similar modification possible to the Golf, where you can just adjust a lever. Unfortunately, the manual does not help at all. Today I had a look at the headlights but couldn“t find anything which looked like the described lever.

I hope that I did not miss anything here or on google.

Thanks for your help!

Cheers,
Dom

I'd think that all the lever on the Golf did, was flatten the beam to make it okay for driving on the other side of the road. I think RHD headlights and LHD headlights has differing beam symmetry by design - so you can't switch RHD to true LHD or the other way round. So, maybe back to fitting a beam "flattener" - ie a sticky bit of black tape?

I don't think there is unless you have full LED lights, in my infotainment under lights, there is a setting for right of left

I'd suspect that these LED lights will be the same, ie a RHD version and a LHD version, switching that option will only flatten the beam, ie same as sticky mask on lights.

Off course you could check the part numbers to prove me wrong.
