Match 2012 1.4 Mods?

Hi Guys,
I bought a polo Match 1.4 2012 (6r) (85ps) around 3 weeks ago and so far loving it!
My only gripe with it is, well, its kinda gutless...and tbh, i have no idea where to start or what i should do to make it slightly faster (and tbh, make it accelerator slightly better)
A few people have mentioned a ECU remap, is that possible with this car? as everywhere i have looked said they don't do it (at least not advertised on their websites)
Also, any recommendations on styling, new alloys are defo on the cards!
Thanks Guys

Hey! I have a
Polo with this engine.
It is true that this isn't a speed demon, but 6R 1.4 isn't a slow car.
On a straight road be achieved speed of 170-198km/h (105-123mph).
This engine is naturally aspirated, so it's impossible to pick up much his performance.
Here is my 6R:

Should you be posting that on a public forum, unless you were driving on a private track at the time? That sort of speed on the public highway could get you into all sorts of trouble!

If this is an N/A engine you'll be throwing your money away.

i didn't imply it was on the public highway though - and yes, it was on the track, hence why im asking

This was my previous car, wish i never had it simply because of how slow it was. at the time a quick decision had to be made as my first car (1.1saxo) got written off by a foreign lady running a red light. so had to get a new car asap. any remaps i found only went to 98hp from the standard 85. it seemed a waste of time and money so never bothered. recently upgraded to the 1.4 bluegt, much quicker and even better on the fuel too. I wouldnt waste your money trying to make it quicker because theres not much that can be done that I know of

Only way to gain acceleration and speed in the 1.4 in strip out the interior and generally shed weight, otherwise fit a turbo etc, N/a's are great and the 1.4 is considered one of the best polo engines for value. Best just to wait and put money into the next car fund.
