Remap for 1.2 TSI?

Im thinking of remapping my Polo and wanted some advice from people who have remapped there cars before. Just wanted to know how much extra horsepower i could achieve if my car has a K&N Induction Kit and a exhaust system. Is it better to get a tuning box rather than a full remap? Does adding a blow off valve increase horsepower? If i take my car in for a service at Volkswagen, will they be able to tell if the car has been mapped?

around 140-150 bhp and 220-230Nm of torque on premium petrol

i would prefer an obd remap over a box any day of the year.

no only turbo response to lifting throttle. and it adds ugly noises

yes, but why bother? is it still in warranty?

Haha thanks for the information!
And no my car is not under warranty but i just wondered what would happen if i serviced my car at VW. I've never took a car in for service since this is my first car. Do you know any companies that remap polos by any chance?

just make sure they don't update your motor software without asking...
i'm from the other side of the channel, so i'm afraid i cannot advise on a tuner in GB

apr or revo are decent for maps
just find a local dealer for either and use them

Yeah i've been looking at Revo right now and they seen to have the most gains.
