Re: Introducing my Lightning McQueen LM95
Can someone help me with wiring diagram for this map sensor connector?
I could not find any other color on white wires. ie orange on white or sort.

Re: Introducing my Lightning McQueen LM95
After going through elsa, here is what i found:
https://en.kolhosniki.ru/elsaonline&ver ... m#id500014
Check No. 34 / 7
G42 and G71 connector have 4 wires
T4d/1 -- br -- Brown -- 283 (Earth Point 2)
T4d/2 -- ws -- White -- T60/42 -- J263
T4d/3 -- sw -- Black -- D141 (5V)
T4d/4 -- ws -- White -- T60/55 -- J263
Since both wires are white -- It is guess to which it should be connected.
Does anyone can help me understand T60/42 and T60/55 of J623 ie ECU does?
As there is no current flowing -- there is no harm in connecting them in any way.
Any advise on how to distinguish it from harness side -- would be welcome.

Re: Introducing my Lightning McQueen LM95
/55 is a pressure transducer which probably will probably be a variable voltage output between 0 and 5V
/42 is a temperature sensor with a PTC or NTC over GND
Best practice is to disconnect T60 and find T60/55 (easiest) and connect it to T4d/4
And 'tother goes to T4d/2

6RF035187C aka R 340G (PQ)
Finally, after a lot of searches, patience, being fooled by sellers, here is a legit used 6RF035187C.
Super packing 1
Super packing 2
Super packing 3
Super packing 4 / Box
Super packing 5
First Glimpse
Device in hand
Device in car
Device in car with illumination
This is an OEM Visteon unit (Manufactured in June 2021) which came in Polo. Seller sold his car, and I was prompt and lucky to be first in line to buy it.
No user manual was provided. However, anti-theft code was provided.
After opening all the packing took radio in car.
Removed existing stereo and unplugged ISO connectors and radio antenna cable.
Connected ISO to Quadlock adapter (with additional CAN+ and CAN - wires) to radio side.
Connected ISO to car ISO connector.
Turned Ignition turned ON.
Powered on radio with left round button.
Presented with "Anti-theft code" screen.
Entered Code
and got radio playing.
Pressed APP button and all three "android auto", "apple carplay" and "mirror link" options were present.
Connected VCDS and here is scan
Surprisingly, my last VCDS scan here
This did not have 56 Radio module installed/enabled.
And latest scan has it enabled.

Finally, could get 56 Radio enabled and changed one coding for radio
From:
0E00044000000F
to:
0E00040000000F
So now no more come this once reverse gear is enagaged:
Also in addition to existing angled aux cable got this angled USB cable.
It is 9" odd long. So iPhone can be put upside down in compartment under climate control.
Just a precaution to avoid any damage.

Re: Introducing my Lightning McQueen LM95
Great, so now we know that Byte3 Bit6 enables RVC (I think I read this info in a thread from some D2 wizard a million years ago)... someone recently asked me about the possibility of enabling/disabling with VCDS the RVC and the OPS in this radio model.
By the way, does your model have RDS? shows radio stations?
---
I don't have this radio model but I find it very interesting and a good upgrade for 6R models... I'm going to investigate to see if I can get the latest FW. Wish me luck!

Re: Introducing my Lightning McQueen LM95
Hey ciclo
Nope this does not get RDS.
I had downloaded the images from some VW site.
Some video had shown to go on radio screen and settings icon you get option to upload and then assign them.
— this was not for RCD340
I will click some more photos and also all VCDS screenshots if you want.
And a small video of all functions.

Re: Introducing my Lightning McQueen LM95
OK thanks. I saw in some of Ali's pictures of these radio models that they had the ability to display the tuned radio station.
For example... BBC CWR, in an Ali buyer review for 6RD035187B (PQ Platforms):
Component: Radio 541 5814
If you want you can make a 'collage' with screenshots of the VCDS label with the definitions/descriptions of the Bits. It's made in D2, but not everyone knows Russian, so it would be nice to have it in English for users who visit your thread (which has many views).

Re: Introducing my Lightning McQueen LM95
For quick download/viewing.
For my CM and DM I downloaded the logos, I think from here https://www.phonostar.de/vw/de/download, unzipped them to an SD and added them with the Radio Settings. There are video tutorials on YT (easy).
I assume that the logos and the procedure for adding them will be the same for your radio model.

Re: Introducing my Lightning McQueen LM95
this is one of YT
however i doubt it works with PQ.
One observation is I could only get 8GB micro SD popped in SD card adapter working
Another one with 32 GB formatted to fat32 does not work. Shows "Device error" message.
