Re: Upgrading BCM (body control module) in my polo 6r
Thanks for your reply. Yes I will wait till everything is ready. I will ask Patil about switch and dimmer. After installing all wiring. Will Coming home and leaving home feature work?

New Dimmer, 6R0941333 with Halogen headlights or aftermarket headlights.
AUTO light switch, 5ND941431B XSH , if you buy it from Ali, you must make sure that the switch has the white label with the reference number. Those that do not have a white label are of very low quality, you should not buy them.
A good one would be this https://es.aliexpress.com/item/32626236 ... 0.0.8lP9Ba (to see the label, do a search on Ali with the reference)
Nice headlights, thank you for the picture of your Polo.
Your original electrical installation shares some details with the original electrical installation of 'vento2013', if you want you can take a look at these links while I am manufacturing your wiring looms.

https://www.uk-polos.net/viewtopic.php?p=532559#p532559 (please, read the installation guide)
You will have to do the same installation process at some points of the wiring adaptation for BCM Max, especially in the wires that I drew on the images and that are not real like the rest.
However, I will tell you here how to install your wiring looms once I send them to you.

Thanks alot for sharing part numbers. AliExpress is banned in india right now. So I'm unable to get that otherwise it was fairly easy. I will search online and try through local sources if they can arrange. I will read that guide for sure. Thanks again for ur valuable information.

Perfect, thanks for inform me, the clearer you have how to carry out this adaptation of BCM and automatic lights, the better for the future of events.
My goal for today is to finish making your wiring looms, but my time is very tight and I may finish with your wiring looms another day.

Take your time. I'm in no hurry. I had ordered the dimmer switch from VW dealer here. Now searching for auto switch.
I forgot to mention one thing. I have installed the auto folding mirros and connection was taken from one of the fuse tap cable. Sorry for telling late.

Re: Upgrading BCM (body control module) in my polo 6r
Hi Vinayak185, I need to know two things about your 6R.
1-Do you want me to also manufacture the BCM-IC CAN lines or is it OK with the ones you currently have installed?
The set will be cheaper if you don't need them, logically.
2-You must take a picture of the left taillight connector so I can see the colors of the wires and the connector model. It is related to the reversing light.
Please ASAP, thanks in advance!
---
FYI: your wiring looms are 70% made right now.

Re: Upgrading BCM (body control module) in my polo 6r
100% made.
You will have to follow the installation guide that I made for vento2013, but below I will show you some images with specific corrections for your Polo 6R, which take priority over the images shown in the vento2013 installation guide. You will quickly see that it is very easy to understand.
I have to take a few more pictures of your wiring looms, so I'll upload them here throughout the day...

Your fuse box.
As you must remove the fuse box to adapt the BCM Max wiring, the next two wires are to replace the two external fuse-cables.
Example https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing
Use the same slots and fuses as currently.
