GTI uprated intercooler

has anyone changed there intercooler on there GTI? and if so what did you go for?
i am looking to change mine. i had a forge one on my 9n3 but looking at all options for my 6c.
i will be hopefully changing the turbo at a later date so will need some thing that will work with that.
