Fog light retrofit with xenons?

Hi!
I've been trying to retrofit foglights to my 6R, but found that the wires use the same pins as the cornering lights my xenons use.
Does anyone know how to wire it up so they both work, or what I can do?
Thanks.

In your case (with bixenon):
The two relays must be installed in wiring for automatic lights.
The wiring for fog lights
with BCM control (you bought) is not correct. The picture shows all the wires (yellow) you need for your fog lights.

Thanks once again!
Do you know which relays I have to buy/where I can buy them?

IIRC (long time ago and many manufactured wiring) I sent you the two relays together with the wiring, so they should already be installed. Check it. (take a picture)

I did indeed install a relay from you. I think it was only one though.
I'll check it out when I get home
Thanks.

After checking the old emails,
I sent you the two relays. (thinking about the future

)
... now I remember that you are one of the few lucky that have a 6R Bluemotion Europe (not BlueGT) without factory bixenon but with
BCM Max from factory.

I just checked, I do indeed have two relays :p
I was actually thinking about just making the loom myself, but at that price buying the plugs and wiring will add up to around the same, lol.
From my rusty German, I reckon it comes with everything I need? From the switch to fusebox wire, fuse, and the harness?
Thanks.

Ciclo; Do you know if I can code the foglights to turn on with the CH/LH aswell with that harness?

You can code it, but the static cornering lights inside Bixenon headlights will light up.
Your new fog lights will be
without BCM control, it seems that your German is really rusty ...

...
I still do not understand why someone wants the CH/LH on the fog lamps if these functions are possible through the Bixenon headlights. 1,000,000 times better through the Bixenon.
Hmm... about the wear of bixenon ... bla, bla, bla ... urban legends.

I understood it is without BCM control, but I was wondering if it was still possible to make them turn on, as it looks great- but yeah, my gerrman is really bad :p
Hmm. Damn. I'll have to make up my mind when I code it then. :p
The foglights ONLY light up when I pull the switch as far as I understand, correct?
But great, I'll order the loom! That way I can also put some beefy LED or xenons in there :p
EDIT: I just found this loom aswell. It seems to be the same, BUT with the cornering feature? I suppose that won't work either, as it's using the same pins as the xenon cornering lights?

Without brain (BCM), the functions are limited ...

Bixenon (IMHO)

Exactly.

It is the same eBay seller .... precisely that is the wiring you do not have to install.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Figured it could have some weird kind of control over them though. Oh well, I'll live without. :p
Yeah, I'll have to stick to the xenons. It just looks great when all 4 light up with coming home IMO.
But thanks. I've ordered the loom. Hoping it will arrive this week so I can get installing.
Thanks a bunch again for your help and time Ciclo. I HIGHLY appreciate it!
I'm running out of things to retrofit though, sadly

The problem lies in the constructive features of BCM PQ25. Dedicates the same pins (T73b/9 and 10) for two functions, fog lights and static cornering lights. These two functions are used when from factory the H7 halogen headlamps are installed together with fog lamps (according level of equipment). There are several BCM Bytes dedicate to them.
When installing bixenon headlights, the static cornering lights are inside the bixenon headlights and it is necessary to use the BCM control for them with the same pins and a diferent BCM coding.
In this way the front fog lights work without BCM control.
If automatic lights are also installed, it is necessary to add a relay to the electrical installation of the front fog lamps to prevent the AUTO light switch from burning due to its electronic operation (non electrical as original factory light switches).

Ah cool. Makes sense, thanks.
I got the new loom in the car, just need some new bulbs now.

In case it is of your interest:
Long time ago in South Africa forum a user installed xenon bulbs in the fog lights. I liked it.
Check it out, you will have to do a search with your browser, I do not have the link.
If you want,
when you have everything installed, put here the BCM coding, maybe it is necessary to make some changes.
