LED Conversion

Hi guys (i swear your gonna get sick of me asking questions soon haha!!)
So, this is kinda a multi question post,
1) Both my reg plate lights have went (or are going, coz if you hit them hard enough they come back on lol) - so, can these be replaced by LEDs, if so which ones and where can i get them? I've seen "kits" on eBay that you just connect the wire to them or something and they are a direct replacement? can those be trusted?
2) Interior lights (front and back) i want to change these to LEDs, any guides on how to 1) get them out and 2) what LEDs i should get?
3) Front footwell lights, again, a guide and where to buy!
Worth Noting: sometimes i cant tell my arse from my elbow when it comes to electronics (and doing my own things to cars in general - my first car), but I'm willing to learn, so please be kind with your replies
