Re: Franciswat's Polo 6R 1.6 Bifuel
Thank you for your invitation Francesco, but for now I do not do any more retrofitting on the 6R, it already has too much equipment, now I only drive it around the city and surroundings without trying to achieve the fast lap with its 125 donkeys.
Right now I am dedicating myself to my wife's golf, this past summer I achieved a Master's Degree in terms of retrofits for my wife's golf (madwarlock and me did a crash course with successful results), and now in winter I will try to get the Nobel Prize ...

Re: Franciswat's Polo 6R 1.6 Bifuel
After so many works you deserve to make some good miles! In the end I think your car is more like brand new because it has 50k km more or less (mine ha more than 100k!)
You definitelly deseve a Nobel for your retrofits.
How's your wife's golf compare to our Polo? I think its electonic is more complicated.
Do you know if those pedals fit our Polo?About the pedals ... no comment, you know.

Re: Franciswat's Polo 6R 1.6 Bifuel
Our 6Rs have an added value, and in my opinion, today it is very difficult to find a car of the dimensions of our 6Rs to move easily in any circumstance (city, surroundings or highways).
You are right, my 6R is very new even though it is more than 8 years old, ... it is something premeditated, I wanted a durable toy.
Now, mainly I do not travel longer distances with the 6R due to my other vehicles and my commitment to the pandemic situation.
The retrofits in the Golf 7.5 are easier to do than in the 6R, there is a huge amount of information on the net, which together with our experience and personal information, it is easy to face any retrofit. As for the electronics, it is somewhat more complex, but with the appropriate diagnostic tools and some patience, everything is solved.
Money, money and then money ...
The pedals you show are shaped properly for the 6R, but without the part number I don't know what to tell you.

At the moment would not change my Polo with any other car and like you I want it to lasts long time.
I thought Golf's retrofits were more complicated due to the sophisticated electronic and all new components protections . I think tools such as Odis are a must for these cars.
Fernando is there anything else I can check a part from voltage and wires integrity before to buy a new RLS again?
Thanks , the issue is to find good quality caps.

Hi guys you know the difference between 5k7955559A, 5k7955559B and 5k7955559C? Is 5k7955559C more recent so a better choice?

''C has much better software, which will work perfectly for all possible new functions that require the RLS to function.

Re: Franciswat's Polo 6R 1.6 Bifuel
Hi guys, in the last days I had fun with snow..
The new RLS "C" version has arrived.
The original ground point was a bit overcrowded so I used an existing hole to create a new one.
After installing the new RLS I found the issue was not related to the sensor but It was caused by an intermittent contact of the positive wire (unfortunatelly I got this only after remaking the whole wiring).. all's well that ends well.

Hello Francesco, happy new year 2021!
Most importantly, you managed to figure out what was wrong with the RLS.
