USB connector ?

I seem to remember that our 2012 Polo had a hidden USB connector somewhere when we bought it but have never needed to use it (till now!). Can anyone point me in the right direction as we have bought a dashcam kit.

you might have an MDI interface box in the glove box... but apart from that there are no USB connectors in a 6R polo

I have no idea what an IDA interface is, or what it does. :) Mike

The MDI interface is an interface to connect an external device to the head unit for playing music from the device in the car. It uses one of several adapter cables (USB is one of them) connected to the MDI port in the glove box.

Some cars have a USB socket next to the cigarette lighter socket in the lower center console.
