Seat replacement

I hope someone can help...
I have recently been to a scrap yard to get a new glove box, as the opening handle snapped off mine, while I was there I spotted that the seats in the scrapped car were better and less worn than my own, the only problem is that they do not have the base tilt adjustment levers on the handbrake sides of them, only forward and back and the seat back recline 'dial' adjuster, if I was to buy the seats is there any way of putting the new seats on to the frames I already have, in other words can I detach them upper seats from the metal frames below, or would I have to put up with losing the ability to tilt the part you sit on?
My car is a 6N2 Polo 1.4 Tdi SE, donor car is a 1.4 petrol.
