I'm getting fed up of the drivers airbag igniter high voltage warning coming up, is there any bypass for this, i.e. Rewire, resistors????

Probably best to find out the cause of the fault and put it right. Quite apart from it being illegal to drive a car with a defective air bag there is also the little matter of staying alive when some twit drives into you.

+1. Find the cause and fix it.

It's not had a crash and I'm going round in circles changing related items and pretty sure it's a fault in the actual seat/side airbag but don't fancy stumping up for either the seat or airbag

Step 1: find the fault (i.e. with an OBD diagnostic tool)
Step 2: find the cause (i.e. broken wire, short circuit, broken switch, broken airbag)
Step 3: solve

Bypassing the air bag light isnโt the answer. High ignition voltage can actually prevent the air bag deploying in a crash. I wouldnโt want to risk ignoring something that could save my life.
There was a similar issue on mk5 golfs where the connector under the seat caused high resistance and had to by bypassed with crimps under a VW recall
