Hi guys .. I have been searching how to change steering wheel on VW Polo 6N2 but I only found how to remove the 2000 version and not my 1999. Could you help me with it if you got some video or pictures of how did you tooked it off? My is like from WW2 and I would like to change it for different one. Also does anyone know the size of the bold inside? Cuz when I will buy new steering wheel there needs to be exact size otherwise I wont fit it there. Thanks for any help. :)

Is your steering wheel as per the picture?

If thats the case, its a non airbag wheel and the horn press just prises out from the middle, then you just have to center the steering wheel, then undo the nut, remove the wheel, swap and reassemble in the reverse order.

Yes, however the slip ring needs modifying otherwise your indicators wont work.

If you search the forum, some people with 6N2s have fitted Mk5/6 golf steering wheels
