Happy 2018

People who know me, don't know me as a very sentimental kind of guy.
But 2017 has been an interesting year. I'm not going to bore you all with long stories and stuff, but I do see you as my Polo loving family.
Playing around with my own car and helping (and hopefully inspiring) others with this shared hobby is a great thing. I'm a very happy member visiting this forum daily, as well as mypolo.nl (where I'm also a crew member) and the ross-tech.com forum to share my knowledge and to learn new things, ways of thinking, facts and techniques.
We all have our own family and an adopted family, from sports, studies, school, work or hobbies. And from time to time it might be good to take a moment and think about it.
I think we have a great international community here, and you're all absolute stars.
From the experts from all over the world, and I'm not going to mention all of you* , to the new users who ask their seemingly dumb questions that were asked 5 times last week.
Because I think we all started out like that, at least I did. Ignorant, inexperienced but interested. That's great and I hope we can keep this going.
Happy 2018, stay inspired and in good health.
* From the UK, a special thanks to our hero Alex who works very hard behind the scenes to keep this site online, to RUM4MO and veteran for some good old (pun intended) common sense, to Adam87, Ricmondo, graylscott, Dink, age69, poloag, the vlogger whose name I forgot and all the other good blokes I forgot. Grazie to all the Italians and their lovely white cars and their knowledge. Gracias of course to ciclo who is one of the great, if not the greatest innovator between us, having the time to help all of us out, you're a f*****g legend. Danke to the Germans who made this great car possible. Thanks mate to our Australian friends. Merci to the French and a special thanks to Benji for his personal help and nurse the twin to my Polo Bluemotion. Tak, tack, takk and kiitos to the Scandidnavions for their cool and chill look on modifying (peter, martin and the others). Dziękuję to the polish, to CNK who keeps stalking me by email to satisfy his massive enthousiasm and to spacewalker for his incredible personal help in making my kessy possible. Marcin, Szymon, you are absolutely amazing. Obrigado to the Portugese for being part of our community. Thank you and namasté to the Indians for visiting us and welcoming us to team-bhp.com, a great forum for inspired modifications and creativity, with great guides and ideas. спасибо to our Russian friends, and by name firegrafik for sharing the great findings from drive2.ru. It's amazing.
