Does anyone know any places i can get an induction kit for an1.0 mpi, preferably a cone filter induction kit?

out of pure curiosity, to what purpose would you like to fit one?

An induction kit will add very little benefit to a 1.0. If anything itll probably reduce your fuel economy. Been there done that years ago

Oh that sucks. I just thought it might and a little something to the car. Id like it to be a bit faster and to sound a bit better. Typical teenage boy type stuff really i guess.

The 1.0 doesnt have much puff sadly, and there wont be much you can do to make it any faster

Id look more at cosmetic bits and making it look smarter

Maybe look at a decent exhaust as opposed to an air filter if you want some noise.

Also, don’t forget to inform your insurance company of any modifications you make to your car, whatever the modifications are; e.g. performance related, cosmetic or other (such as upgraded stereo). There be a requirement in your insurance policy to tell your insurer about any changes you make to your car, and failure to inform them could invalidate your insurance cover and leave you uninsured.

Bear in mind that your insurer may also want to increase your premium if you modify your car. I’d therefore recommend you contact them before you make any changes;

• to ensure they’re happy with any modifications you’re proposing to make and are prepared to continue to insure you.

• so you know in advance what additional premium (if any) they require, so you can decide if it’s affordable, bearing in mind pretty much all insurers view young drivers as a high risk and set their premiums to reflect this.
