i went for a test drive in one today and its fantastic. i went in the 2 litre (115bhp 8v) one and the accelaration is alright, its much the same as my 16v. i kind of fancy the idea of cruising around in a cab the thing is there a little bit girly/mumsy. ive done a few searches and modded ones look awesome. what do you lot reckon? cool or not?

Yeh why not? Can be a little camp to begin with but with the right styling can look amazing.

I've always have had a soft spot for the Golf Cabs, whatever the Mk.
I think MkIIIs look great modded and I've promised myself when and if I ever have the extra cash I would buy one (or a MkI) and use it in the summer! (and have my Polo GTI as the daily runner!).
The thing is a tidy MkI still go for £2-3k+!

the mk3 is for me! im not quite as keen on the 3.5, ive had a mk3 before and just love the shape. i wouldnt mind a go in the 270bhp 3.5 though, can you imagine the noise of that monster with the roof down? it'd scare the hell out of the beemer crew! have you been in it josh? whats it like?
