Rear Pads/Wheel Bearings

What sort of mileages are owners getting from rear pads? My 2015 is on 28k & there's a noise under braking from the rear, but no brake wear indicator. It's not driven hard so the brakes haven't had a hard life.

I'm also experiencing general road noise from the back. Wondering if that's a noisy bearing. Again anyone had issues?

Obviously need to get it looked at but just wondering what others may have experienced.

What is the specifics of your car? SE,GT,GTI etc. I have a Blue GT 14 plate and have just changed the discs and pads last weekend, that is at 48.5k miles. That is the first time they have been changed. Tbh they were a little lower than I’d of liked but still not metal on metal. Also I’ve not driven it slow all the time.
Hope this helps

I would expect that your brakes, both front and rear have never ever been serviced snce that car left the factory, that sort of work is not icluded in dealership minor/major services, so you what you need to d is to either service these brakes, or pay someone to service them for you - and make sure that that is done every other year at service time.

Edit:- I am sure that you will find that there is only one wear sensor on these cars, if I remember correctly, it is on a front RHS pad.
