Sorry but does anyone know the tow eye thread pattern as I am wanting to put a red race tow strap to my Polo GTi 6C and i don't know how long the bolt should be or its thread pattern that i need to buy in order to fit the strap.

Any advice is much appreciated

Have a look at the removable towing eye which is in your car’s toolkit, stored under the boot floor. This’ll show you what the thread length and pattern is.
