ive got a 1.2 dti polo and am looking to change the oil.
5w - 30 but not sure of any additional specs I need.

can I get plain 5w 30 fully synthetic long life engine oil with spec VW 502.00, VW 505.00 and 505.01 or do I need a higher/better/different grade?

Got the Haynes manual and surprised it’s not more thorough...
Anyone know what is used to keep the under engine panel in place I need to remove to drain the oil? Torx no 20?
Also is the drain plug an Allen key or socket fitment?
