Gearbox

Hey guys, I have a 2006 Polo GTI 1.8T
My gearbox has gone, struggling to find a second hand gearbox and mine cannot be reconditioned due to the casing being broken. I was just wondering if anyone knew an alternative gearbox which would fit into the Polo I.E; Audi, Skoda etc as finding a second hand gearbox is impossible.
Any help would be much appreciated
