Polo Stalling - Service or OBD2 adaptor?

Morning Guys,
I’ve got a 2010 1.4 petrol, 5D polo which is great. I recently bought a Carista OBD2 adaptor, connected to my phone and enabled the following settings whilst the engine was running,
- Auto lock doors when above 10mph
- Auto lock boot when above 10Mph
- Auto unlock the above when key taken out of ignition
- Enable MFD giving miles left on tank
- Enable horn when ignition off
My question, since having my car serviced, minor, MOT plus Campbelt it starts, then the revs dip and often cuts out unless you rev whilst starting. Also it is a bit jerky if still whereas it used to be really smooth.
Do you guys think this was likely caused by the OBD2 adaptor or the service, this week I paid £155 for a new throttle sensor (apologies this isn’t quite the right nam) and diagnostics costing £155. The garage have just rung to say they want to refund and then have car in all next week.
Any help much appreciated!
Josh
