ECM disabled problem

Help!!! Dash isn't lighting up when ignitions on and fires up then cuts straight out so plugged into solus and says "ECM module disabled" what's my options here?!! Only ran out of fuel and its lead to this!!!!

Your scanner is misleading you:

The error is actually that engine start is blocked by immobiliser
If the dash isnt lighting up, you've got something else going on. I would suggest getting it scanned by VCDS rather than solus.
