TPK system stuck

First time poster here 
I bought a Polo GTI 12 months ago and the Bluetooth/ hands free kit was fine. A short while ago it is now playing up. The screen has stuck on the pages where you select the language! Help!
Any ideas!
I took it to a dealer but it'll cost a fortune just to take a look. Is there anything I can check myself?
