I want to get to the inside wheel arches in the boot but I am stuck with removing the lining and trim. I have checked this forum
https://uk-polos.net/viewtopic.php?t=60339, but after removing two torx holding the block at the back of the seat and the one torx holding the trim at the back of the boot, I don't see how to proceed. The lining seems to have been attached behind the trim before the trim was put in place. It is a 2017 five door Blue GT. Can anyone help.

I presume you mean double bolts. The blocks have lifted away OK.

No, I think that he is referring to the 2 level boot flooring.
Edit:- what does the Haynes repair manual say about this, possibly just "remove" but until you have checked you will not know.

At the moment, all I want to do is to lift away the small parcel shelf and trim at the top each side. I will then have access to see what is behind and maybe slip sound-deadening pads in as well.
