Interior options

Hello,
Had the car around a year now and I’m looking to spruce up the interior.
So far I’ve done the following:
-Interior LED’s
-Genuine Volkswagen carpets
-Upgraded standard radio to allow app connect and car play
-interior mood lighting
-front and back footwell lights
-armrest
-route iPhone cable inside dash
I’ve also just had all the interior trims sprayed gloss black.
I’m looking for some more things to do and I’m also planning on on a speaker upgrade.

how have you routed your cable for the phone?
I have the same radio and the USB placement is kinda sh!t

Alloy pedals from a GTi (polo or Golf will fit and also Audi A3), flat bottom steering wheel

I took the unit apart, put a hole in the metal casing and soldered a new usb to the back of the radio so now the iPhone cable is not seen at all apart from the connector to the phone

im already interested in a flat bottom steering wheel just don't like the idea of taking the airbag off and reconnecting it, not from a technical point more of a "hope it doesn't go off"

Felt the same as you the first time I had to remove the airbag to replace a faulty cruise switch. Just make sure you disconnect the negative lead from the battery and make sure you have touched the metal bodywork to discharge any static prior to touching the airbag connectors and then no problems with the airbag but store it securely while it is out of the car. Manual suggests that you are not in the car when reconnecting the battery afterwards.
