Bluetooth audio

I have a rcd 310 radio and it had bluetooth audio however when i search for a bluetooth signal off my phone it is showing no available devices and i dont understand why

The RCD 310 does not have bluetooth audio
If you had the TPK phone kit installed (little screen on your dash) that provides bluetooth handsfree, but no media streaming unless you add a cable
Its better to pickup an RCD330G+ and replace the lot.

I have a bluetooth audio option on my radio the model number of my radio is 5m0035186j have a rcd310 manual in my car so i thought that was the radio i had

You do, but the radio requires a 9W7 or 9W3 bluetooth module to be installed from factory in order to use this functionality
The setting is there on the menu system, but has no function unless the module is present.
Look under the passenger/drivers seat to see if there is a big control box under there
