Hi there I was interested in installing blindspot monitor for my polo beats 2017. Any ideas are welcome. prefer to use proper microwave radar detection.
Has anyone installed them?
Also anyone tried this module from carmodule.de for reverse mirror dipping as long as you have an electric mirror.

Thanks for the replies.

I checked the other usual options for buying kits to upgrade, ie Kufatec and Carsystems but nothing available from them.

I’m in the middle of retrofitting the lane change assist for my 6R 2012. Now the radar needs the calibration procedures which can only be done by the dealer with the doppler simulator. lets see how that goes soon.
big thanks for iichel who did help me alot till now.

are you using vw oem system or aftermarket benzinkopf? the vw blindspot system does not have audible sound if i am right.
Good job installing the radars. i wonder your system would be same for polo 6c?
you would need steering assistance for te blindspot?

yes of course its oem system with the led indicator outside inside the exterior side mirror body.
and im sure theres no sound. just flashing led if u turn on the signal on the side with incoming blindspot. maybe some supported instrument cluster might give extra bong warning but for polo, i doubt it.
