M.O.T. Lambda test results.

My 1.2 litre 3 cylinder passed its M.O.T. but I'm a little concerned with the Lambda test results achieved during Fast Idle Test.
Fast Idle Test: Limits Actual Value.
Engine Speed: 2500 - 3000 rpm 2729 rpm PASS
CO : =< 0.20 % 0.01% PASS
HC : =< 200 ppm 0 ppm PASS
Lambda : 0.97 - 1.03 1.026 PASS
Natural Idle Test:
Engine Speed : 450 - 1500 rpm 833 rpm PASS
CO : =< 0.30 0.00 %
Without any knowledge of manufacturers Lambda level and because the limits are narrow, I be grateful for any information as to what is normal or how to improve results.
Given the actual result is only 0.004 lower than the upper limit, any method of reducing the Lambda actual value, especially as CO and HC are well within limits.
