RCD310 with TPK to RCD330Plus

Currently got a RCD 310 with TPK and dash mounted screen. The RCD 330plus comes with built in BT so want to remove the TPK altogether. Is it just a case of removing the the RCD310 and swapping the quadlock over directly in to the RCD 330? I assume there will be a brains box for the TPK behind the headunit but someone mentioned about swapping out a different quadlock.
