Just bought a 2016 VW Polo 1.4 TDI. As a driving instructor, I need to be able to see the speedometer from the passenger seat. The problem is that I can only see speeds above 80 mph, even with the seat right back. On previous driving school cars, with similar problems, the fitting of a simple secondary VDO speedometer low down on the passenger side solved the problem; the main VW dealer is struggling. Has anyone else solved this one. Before anyone asks, the satnav is not the answer.

GPS speedo, widely available and cheap.

You should be able to get driving school option enabled on the screen in the dash.

Shows you speed and if the indicators are in use.

Thanks people, I'll look into these but keep the ideas coming just in case.
