Hi I’m looking at buying some leather 6R seats from a breakers and I’m wondering if they will fit into my 6C also whether all the airbag connectors will match?

Are you sure that the 6R Polo ever got seats with leather, I think that its plastic fake leather, I like the idea of swopping dull boring seats for leather/Alcantara ones though, my last Passat had these seats as does my current S4, nothing, in my mind beats Alcantara with genuine leather side bolsters etc!

When I spec'd my wife's 6C Polo SEL up, I fancied the leather/Alcantara option, until I discovered that it was extremely expensive and horrid looking fake leather, ie plastic, so I did not feel bad about giving it a miss.

You'll need to swap the passenger seat occupancy mat. 6r to 6c and vice versa isn't interchangeable

Thanks for your helpful message is there a guide on how to do this?
Also just to be clear, do you mean I need to change the mat itself( as in attached image) ? I.e take the cover off the seat expose the foam and change the Mat sensor (as in attached image) for the one in my existing passenger seat?

I'm afraid I don't know how to do this, I just heard about it.
